1995 Stereo Tape Deck

Guys....I'm looking for a Tacoma Radio/Tape that comes in the 1995 model. Mine is working, but all of the lights contained within it are out. I know I can retro fit something new, but I really like having the old OEM in my taco. Anybody have one that might be interested in letting it go?

 

Finding a good OE unit for a 95 could be tough, I see nice ones on my local Craigslist on occasion but usually 2000 or newer.

 

I’d look into opening it up and replacing the bulbs. I assume they’re bulbs and not LEDs? Either way.

If you just toss in a used unit it’s gonna have however many hundred hours on the lighting so you may end up back in the same spot in a couple years

Keep searching on Fleabay. I got mine a few years back for $126. You want to look close for heavy use, dust and dirt is okay (most of them come from junkyards) but look for wear on the buttons and controls.

I dont recall if these guys are even still in business....
Back in the day, my dealer would sublet actual radio repairs to them...
They can do it for you if theyre still around, you would have to call & obviously ask...
