So as far as I know I have a 95 Tacoma 4x4 3.4 engine. However I only have two speakers in my cab. One on each door. Everyone I know or have seen online have 4 speakers (one each door and one each back driver and passenger side) I’ve always been confused and would like to know exactly what kind of truck I have??

If memory serves, when the Tacoma first came out, rear speakers were included with the upgraded radio package. The base models only had the door speakers up front.

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I only have the speakers in the Doors on my 2000.

Maybe the added speakers came after 2000

I have only two speakers - "not so upgraded model" 1995. But I like it this way - nobody sits on the back jump seats, so who cares if speaker are out there. But instead of speakers I have two storage compartments, they are much more useful than some stupid speakers. My 2 cents.

My 98 has speakers - I assume the inner cab skins and plastics were designed to accommodate them from day 1. Remove the plastics and see if there’s nutserts for them.

My 96 has 4 speakers. A speaker and HU upgrade was the second thing I did to it after full fluid changes. lol

Not an expert on the 95.5 but my understanding is most of them didn't have the rear speakers. Only the upgraded audio trucks had them.
Here are a few pictures from some of my parts trucks you can see what all is needed to add speakers.IMG_20191111_121711.jpg
