1996 2-Door SX - Good Base For Dedicated Crawler?

    ALL OF THEM!...Then some more.
    the problem with the ECU swap is there are two 97ecus. One goes till May the other is post May. Only the Post May ones work far as i know. VERY hard to find. No harness swap is needed though far as i know.

    also didn't solve my ECU problems swapping one over.

    I don't think you could pay me to put another Toyota-based crawl box in a truck of mine.

    With that being said, my Atlas 4 leaks more than it ever should for only having 500 road miles on it, but at least I know I will never break it :D

    It looks like you have a 4cyl. The v6 one is a different ecu.

    Is that gas mileage correct shown below for your four-cylinder? if it is the six cylinder is going to be about the same gas mileage, my v6 supercharged is almost the same as your four-cylinder

    Actually the mpg shows higher than it is. My speedometer reads 10mph faster after I regeared.

    I have an atlas :D It is the 2spd though.

    The toyota-based transfer case stuff ends up being as expensive as a 4spd Atlas after everything is said and done. Not worth it.

    I'll take the former any day :D
