Help! Im working on a 1996 Tacoma w/ 3.4 that keeps throwing the p0325/p0330 knock sensor bank 1/Bank 2 codes. I replaced both sensors(they were original and loose) and the harness. My problem is that it is still throwing the same codes and going into limp mode. The Motor does have a very small amount of valve train noise, will that set these sensors off? I plan to test the sensors tomarrow, however I believe the chances of getting two bad sensors is between slim and none. I also noticed That with the E1 and TE1 terminals jumped, baseline timing was at 15* BTDC, is that right? It Looks Like It Had a timing belt replacement done not long ago, maybe the belt is off a tooth thus causing detonation? Im Running out of ideas, any advice is greatly appreciated

Did you ever fix this issue? I'm having the EXACT same issue. My truck ran fine before but had a pending code for a cam position sensor. I replaced the cam position sensor and when I started it up, it was in total limp mode with a p0325 and p0330. I thought maybe I ripped the knock sensor wires loose when I replaced the cam sensor so I went ahead and replaced both knock sensors and the harness. I now have a horrible raspy valve train sound when I rev the engine up and the knock sensor codes are still there. Since you have the same thing, I'm thinking that's just what it sounds like when the timing is retarded that much. I will straight up send you money if you help me with this (if you figured out what was wrong with yours)
