1996 4WD MT V6 Ext Cab w/ Shell SOLD

Up for sale is my 1996 1996 Extended Cab, 3.4 V6 4WD, M/T, white, currently has a camper shell. Just clicked on to 316K miles and will gain a few as I drive it to work every couple weeks.

I’ve had this truck since 2003 and it's gone everywhere with me and been well cared for; but right now with 3 trucks in the driveway it’s time for her to find a new home and move on to new adventures. This truck has only had a few thousand miles put on it over the last few years and still runs strong, and for some reason gets better mileage and runs smoother than my 1999 Tacos. Would love it to go to a good home and it would make a great first truck for somebody.

The Good:

• California truck with no frame rot and all the metal is in good condition.
• Rear has extra leafs installed by Deaver Spring in Santa Ana. Adds some ride height and load capacity.
• Edit- Just put slightly used Rancho shocks in the back. Pictures show old shocks that spewed some oil all over themselves.
• Front has Bilstein 5100's on middle groove, so better ride height. Great handling on/off road.
• All the interior works fine- A/C, Heat, Cruise Control, lights, all the electrical, and the interior is in good shape for the age
• Has front aux lights on a grille guard, rear "rock lights", power in the back of the bed, trailer hitch wired fully. Everything is professionally wired in via relays and proper wiring looms
• Mechanically runs great, 4WD works fine, transmission shifts nicely, clutch action is great (new clutch about 25K miles ago) and I just rebuilt the clutch pedal with new bushings
• I’ve kept up on all the fluids, timing belt, and other maintenance over the years, in fact I usually changed more often than recommended. Full log comes with the truck.
• Brand new NAPA lifetime warranty CV Axles just installed a couple months ago.
• New catalytic convertor a few years ago.
• Brand new muffler installed in June 2018

The Bad:
It has 316K miles, so there are a few things that need some love on it-

• Edit May 20th- Just did a once-over on her and found a leaky PS rack. I've reduced the price considerably as the new owner would probably like to replace. PS leak is at the input shaft on the rack. I have fixed it with stop-leak, and that has held for a few hundred miles. But I wouldn't trust that for the next 100K miles. Unless you are ambitous with repairing it you would likely want to replace for $2-400.
• Finish has clear coat peeling on hood and top of shell, and a few other places. Small divots around the body in various spots and on the tailgate (damn Home Depot parking lot), which I tried to show in my pics. I just washed it and clayed the doors and fenders and to my surprise the finish cleaned up really nice.
• A little rust on the bottom of the tailgate from the sealant (inside) failing and allowing water to get in and stay in the folded joint there.

I'd love to, but with a college budget, and the cost of repairing or selling my current one, I simply can't afford it right now. GLWS! Hope it goes to someone who loves it as much as you have.

Bump- Reduced price due to below. Also replaced rear shocks and put different KC lights on (spot instead of driving lens).

Just found a leaky PS rack and muffler rusted out. I've done a temp fix on the muffler, but the rack will probably need replacement.

Hoping to sell as-is since I don't have much time to fix these items. Please don't make me go to Craigslist
