    Howdy all,

I have seen a few posts about the 60/40-for-bucket swap and I want in. I saw a post or two about swapping with a 98 4Runner.

Point is this: Is there an exhaustive list on what drops in? I'd like to bolt-in rather than fabricate. Wouldn't mind a console either. Any help would be appreciated. I want to have a plan for the junkyard!!

I've got a 98 Ext. cab myself and I'm looking for the same thing. I was wondering if I could just get a passenger bucket seat at a junk yard and swap it into the drivers side.

I just bought a pair of these from a 2010 Scion TC. They will have to ship to me. You mention no mods, but did all four mounting locations bolt down into the factory position or did you have to drill the floor and reinforce for the seatbelt anchor?

Thanks for posting these up. I'm going to buy Wet Okole seat covers in Taupe for my 95.5 Tacoma with the oak interior. Looking for a console now to pair with these.

The mounts for the center feet mount up pretty good. Elongate the rear hole alittle and massage the front to confirm to the bump angle. The outer feet will be off by about a 1/2" i just drilled new holes.

Do the seat bottoms cause you to sit much higher than stock seats?

They do. I actually had a friend weld up mounts. To get them to sit level you have to jack up the back of the seat quite high. I like the higher ride though being 5'8". If you're over 6' tho...it might be a problem. Super comfortable seats. Really glad I did the swap. Just drove to Red River and back with not a peep from the lower back. Thanks to Acidfly for the heads up.
