1996 Tacoma 2x4 Xtended Cab, 208,800 miles, GOLD paint, automatic tranny, 2.4L 4-cylinder
- Salvage title (due to minor front end damage, no mechanical system damage)
- NEW engine installed at 121,780 miles
- Bed liner

- New radiator, plugs, wire, distributor cap/rotor, head gasket

This has been my daily commuter for 8yrs; it was replaced with a new model. Damage due to getting rear ended and pushed into an SUV in front of me. Slight damage to front end, but no mechanical damage to engine or related systems. The rear bumper was replaced. That much was enough to total out the title. Only annoying thing is that the hood won't close 100%. The aux latch keeps it closed, but it will bounce without a bungy cord. Should be a simple fix, but I haven't bothered. The small rip in the driver seat has been patched, too.
