Yeah...you suck. I sweat just setting on the deck in the shade. So may as well sweat working on the truck.

Well, tell yourself that at least your paint will dry faster!

Anyway, I can feel you... I have to replace my O2 sensors and it's suffocating hot here too.

I started reading through this thinking I bought the truck your working on, then I checked the dates. I just picked up a 97 Taco with 76k outside York, PA that looks almost identical to yours. When inspecting it we found more welding done on the frame then I was expecting...not quit as nicely done as what your pictures are showing. Can't wait to see it when your done.

Thanks. One more box of parts to arrive and it will be full on assembly mode. Got nickle copper brake lines and some fittings yesterday. The leaf springs came from a local shop on Tuesday. I have the total expenses at home but for now I am around $1,100 not counting consumable items like cut off wheels, welding wire, gas, steel I had on hand for the plating, etc. The only thing not on its way or bought already is fuel lines. I will likely run all new ones from end to end.

For less than $1500 bucks and a few hours of your time that will be a sweet truck! Love seeing folks like you bringing them back from the dead. Keep up the good work.

Thanks. I hope to have it rolling in about a week. I made the brake lines for the rear diff last night and put them on. E-brake cable is on. Doing that little stuff while waiting for the u-bolts, leaf bolts and a few other items to show up.

Hang tight. The last box of parts came today and I will be going full speed on assembly tonight. Pics coming. May just put my phone off to the side doing a live feed on the Instagram page my kids set up.

One hour left at work.....and it's going to drag...….

LOL...I like the simple mundane stuff as well as the big flashy progress reports. Its like all of those car shows on TV. I stop watching when they get away from the actual car repair and start focusing more on the screwed-up relationship crap.

Brakes are done. Need to finish e brake and install gas tank. Then exhaust.

But....i need the front skid plate bracket that bolts to the frame along side the e brake arm. Anyone have one?
