    Testing the waters to sell
My wife’s lx450. We bought her this car 3 months ago for a DD but it is not practical for her to commute it on the freeway everyday. We paid 26k for it, Asking 26k but entertaining REASONABLE offers. Located in upstate S.C. It has the factory front and rear lockers which work. OME suspension, new 35 mtr Kevlar. Everything on it works. It is a very nice and capable vehicle. 154k Miles. More info/pics to come if there is interest . Will be going on a few more sites within the next week. Thanks for looking. Yeh, there is a market for these vehicles that obviously you don’t know about. Check out ih8mud and eBay. That little chart thingy you took time to find means nothing. But thanks for your concern, and by all means, take all your knowledge elsewhere.

Just a 10 second ebay search brought up a bunch LX450 bone stock for $15,000- $20,000 so a tastefully upgraded one shouldn't have any trouble in the $20k- $25k range. My moms LX450 is sitting at just north of 300,000 miles, so this one has tons of life left.
    Good luck!

Thanks and Yeh, the people that have no clue about these cars will
Obviously chime in with their ignorance. I knew that.

For a vehicle to be at 150k and be 21yrs old and look that good. For example my truck a 2012 with 40k.

At the end of the day op is trying to sell his truck and everyone else is nit picking about his price. If that's the case why even bother coming in to his thread to bash op on his post.

This. When my folks bought the house I grew up in Palm Beach County, FL, in 1960.... they paid $13,000 for it. Four bedrooms, two baths, FL room, on one-half acre. 40 years later after all of us kids left, they decided to sell and get a condo. That same house sold for $450K.

These aren't like a modified YJ or 3rd gen 4Runner, those are easy to find and people aren't willing to pay that much for them, these and the LC variant are getting harder to find with under 200k miles.

I’m more curious as to why you thought it would make a good DD highway cruiser.

What a beautiful ride! So have wanted one of those. I hope I don't run into you when I vacation down your way next month. We would be driving 2 tucks home.

    Good luck with the sale.
