CEL with PO130 Bank 1/Sensor 1 with no current drivability issues yet. I have a new Denso part#234-4161 to replace the faulty one. The problem I’ve run into is that the wire harness is positioned above the transmission where I cannot even see it. I traced the wire to this point and can feel where it connects, but cannot get a small flathead into it to pop it loose(I’ll post a pic later, if requested, after the exhaust cools down).
I’m wondering if it’s safe to gently pull down on the wire to get it to a point where I can access it. My concern is possibly damaging the wiring by doing so. Also, I currently do not own a jack or stands, so I’m having to do this on my back. I’m considering just taking it to my mechanic to get him to replace it. I was all set to do what looked to be an easy repair job but am unsure about how to safely pull that connection into view. Any thoughts/advice are appreciated

I should’ve had coffee before I posted this. Guessing I can just pull the sensor out then loop it over the transmission to get access to the connection. Going for it now

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
The harness is attached to a bolt on top of the transmission I just remove the shifter cover and disconnect the harness giving you plenty of room on the right side to disconnect the sensor.

Be careful the plastic tends to get brittle and break easy.

I’m a newb at this, so just for clarity: I can access the harness from inside the cab?
Also, just discovered the bolts are still seized after an overnight PB Blaster soak. Probably just going to get it to my mechanic tomorrow since he’s done it hundreds of times. Is it OK to continue driving for a couple more days?
