I remember swapping certain chevy leafsprings with our toyota leafsprings for strength and even lifts the rig a little bit.

What leafsprings are the right length does anyone have that info?

63” Chevy springs require changing mounts afaik.

2nd gen dodge Dakota springs can be used to build a bastard leaf pack.

don’t know of any direct fits

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    What is your end Game?

The 63" chevy springs were the Hot set Up for the front axle doing the solid axle swap.

Most all Springs other then the ones that were stock are going to need fab work.

I have’t seen any rigs with 63”s up front. That would be to long of a spring.

As for OP, like already asked, what are you trying to accomplish?

added strength, Ive been looking into "add a leaf" looking at one imparticular that raises the rear 1.5/2 inches, but now Im wondering if i add a leaf and raise the rear, would i need to get an estended shocks? and hows the best way to find those?

Strength? For? Springs don't really make things stronger. Are you carrying additional weight, towing, etc.. Or are your current springs just old and worn out. The work involved with installing an AAL is almost identical to replacing the springs, so you may want to consider new springs.

I highly suggest the 3 leaf style AALs. Yes if you lift your truck, you will need new longer shocks, LSPV relocation, and an extended rear brake line. Bilstein makes a great 5100 pair for the rear. Keep in mind that you'll also need new U bolts. The AAL should come with a new center pin.

Check out Wheelers Offroad. They should have everything you need.

also keep in mind that even leaf springs across all years of 1st gen Tacomas aren't the same, 1995.5 - 1997 had shorter leaf springs than 1998 - 2004.
