    The most time consuming part of the taking the upholstery off all my seats was trying to figure out how to remove these seat rest inserts without breaking them...

    they are not removable from simply pushing a tab or unscrewing a screw.

    you must pull the upholstery halfway off the seat to squeeze the insert to release upwards.
