I didn't do the exterior skin, I just did the interior side, but it made a big difference. I really like the Kilmat stuff.20220507_124155.jpg

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one to use that type of sound deadener.
    Your job looks well done!

This is what i have been considering doing. Happens to be the same color truck as yours so you made it a realistic idea for me now. Looks amazing my geolandar m/t are loud and I can't hear my music so this is imperative to do

Your doors are way better installed than what I did on mine. I couln't fit the door panel back on afterward and had to trim up all that hard work.

Do the flooboards, headliner, and back of the rear seats and you'll be in a lap of luxury, I used Siless, two layers around everything but a third layer on the floorboards for TX heat. Mind the holes with painters tape!

Headliner and floorboards are next for me, that's good to make a huge difference.

    Wow!...
    Very impressive work!

What did you use as your third layer on the floor?

This was very helpful when I did mine. I did a closed cell foam in addition to mat as a 2nd layer, which I've been very happy with.

Where did you get the closed cell foam?
    And what thickness?
    Thanks.

I ended up using 4mm Siless matt, but all the major manufactures sell similar products.

I used Aggsound 394mil sound deadener off Amazon, mainly because of the thickness for the floorboards and price - The rear cupholder is very snug and I prepped the surface with alchohol first. The AC keeps up with ~105 degree heat when I drive home from work now. I can't wait to see how it insulates in the winter.

I hadn’t thought of thermal insulating properties.
    Even better!
    Thanks for the info.
