This is a problem that I read all I can read about. I put a Master Cylinder on the truck and of course no fluid to the rear wheels. I have tried multiple things with no luck. I replaced the LSPV and and have pulled vacuum on all lines, but still nothing. I replaced the rubber hydraulic line and I am lost now. This has been going on for a month and I and going crazy.

    Thanks for any help

did any fluid come out of the lspv? any fluid out of the hard line before the lspv? check all the hard lines back to the MC and check for any crimps or bends. :notsure:

almost assuredly you will have to bleed a lot due to air bubbles

Did you go with a cheap China Built Master Cylinder .

Maybe it just does not work right out of the box

Are you getting fluid to the front brakes ??

Just how are you trying to bleed them your pulling vacuum with the bleeder valve open correct??

I have fluid coming into the lspv and out of the bleeder, but nothing from the top where it feeds the rear wheels. I haven't found any crimps or bends in the lines. The bottom line is the only one giving me fluid.

It is an aftermarket master cylinder from a parts house. Yes I am getting plenty of fluid to the front wheels, Just nothing to the rear. I am pulling a vacuum with the bleeder open but I only get a very small stream of fluid from the top line. I took the rubber hyd hose off and connected to the line to see if I could get any fluid.

With every thing closed does pumping the pedal build pressure ??

Even with air in the system it should build pressure .

If it does not I would look at the Master cylinder .

This does not have ABS brakes does it??

ok, so with the rear brake line connected to the lspv but not to the axle, you get fluid coming out correct? a good amount or very little?

when you say bleeder which bleeder are you talking about, the one on the drum or?

I get very little pressure with every thing closed. I have been thinking that the MC may be a problem. No it does not have ABS.

I get very little fluid from the rear brake line going to the axle, just a weak stream. I was referring to the bleeder on the lspv.

going off of what you have already replaced it sounds like it's the brake line attached to the LSPV or the LSPV itself. you can bleed from it no problem. but you can't get fluid to come from the line. there is either a clog or something else going on at the LSPV "out"
