Sweet 97 V6 standard cab, holy grail truck for a lot of guys. It'll sell for more than you think though.

i still did not get what the bid retraction or start over was all about?
my guess would be $7k +/- without knowing anything about how it currently runs
they rejected my license upload twice due to my poor picture taking
so i gave up trying to get a bid in onit

    i forgot about this truck
looks like they started the auction over again, what did the bid get up to?
there must be a floor that the person donating it set

I'm confused. This truck has 272k on it and no one knows how the frame is. It's a huge gamble to pay more than $1000 for this isn't it? Especially if shipping for you is $500 +?

It’s got a ton of potential and a Colorado truck so more than likely the frame is ok like my truck
My frame is almost perfect and a few months different when made both Colorado trucks

Oh yeah you are the famous methanol 600k+ guy! Lol, my dad loves your truck.

Anyway, yeah it's very possible it's good. I'm from the rust belt so I double check after I double check the frames on Tacomas I look at!

I really like this truck but again would need someone to check it out for me.

    So, anyone!?

depending on the gravel stone chips at the frame, with that many miles there has to be some?
it would probably need to be re-coated with much better quality paint that seals out chemicals better if you are taking it east of Colorado
    ask me how i know!!!

I'd take gravel stone chips over rot holes any day lol. Up here in PA it's hard to find a rust free 1st Gen.

those sand and stone chips will lead to bad rot when the chemicals get to them!

i did find one of these 97 v6 single cab, it was even white! in my hometown of Omaha's salvage lot
but the frame was completely roasted and just literally fell apart on them while on the road :( ... i have plenty of pics of that one but you have probably seen it all in PA
it was bad, i have never seen anything like it before

Copart does weird shit it seems in preliminary bidding. I had my bid canceled when a vehicle went from not being assigned an auction date to being assigned. I bid again. I'm not sure why Copart does this.

The last hour of a Copart auction is like eBay of old in my experience, a lot people won't bid until it's close to ending. My bet is it will be three dudes. One from Mexico, one from Colorado or California and one from Yemen in the last 2 minutes
