It looks like that cooler from Rockauto is a one-size-fits-all type that attaches to the radiator thru the fins. I hope the fan shroud doesn't get in the way. The long flexible hose would then replace the hard line going back to the rack. That hose wouldn't be attached to anything and could flop around against metal parts and wear another hole. I guess it would work until you locate a proper steel line.

    Tan,
see that is what i am worried about... where to locate this damn thing. does it have to be near a fan? Can i just locate it right where the old one was for air flow, etc. i dont know much about after marktet coolers such as these.

Here's my 2 cents. The aftermarket cooler has fins to assist with cooling whereas the OEM line is just a steel tube right? The aftermarket cooler should be more efficient and therefore will not require as much air flow to achieve the same cooling capacity. So with that in mind you can mount the aftermarket cooler in a location with less airflow if necessary for clearance and still get adequate cooling.

If you have a shop in the area that does work on hydraulics for various types of equipment, they may be able to fab either a proper repair or replacement bit for you for a reasonable price.

    Worth checking out anyway.

I've had a few things done over the years, including AC lines for vehicles with no parts available.

Hey OP, whatcha think about heading to the hardware store and getting a piece of copper tube? That line is just held on by hoses clamps....put a few bends in it wherever you like and hook it up? Get ya going at least...

Don't know anything about copper and PS fluid being compatible though. I'm sure there'd be no issue...just thinking out loud....
