Hello, my name is Jonathan. Ive bought a 98 Tacoma with 210k (will give more info if asked) my first question at hand is the Headers i bought the truck with aftermarket headers and they are causing problems Starter Motor is getting alot of heat. I just need to see a post on how they wrapped aftermarket headers or if anyone has OEM headers for sale at a good price. becuase i do not want to start my ownership with this truck all bad. i replaced the starter with a denso last saturday. runs good starts good just want piece of mind. any info helps also i live in Concord California so if anyone wants to meet up and maybe go wheeling im down. slight rusty on wheeling only because my 05 runner had to sold under circumstances last year. havent wheeled since.

I am sure you could find some generic info online about wrapping headers just searching google. I don't think it needs to be specific to Tacoma headers. I think the hard part is wrapping them while installed on the truck? Thats going to be a major PITA if its not impossible.. I've wrapped headers in DEI titanium wrap, real good product. Mine was off the car so it was much easier. Didn't need any special skills to do it, just took my time and bought extra fasteners in case I goofed up...
