Does anyone out there know how to repair a droopy sun visor on a 98 Tacoma?

as mentioned, its usually just something you replace.

I have seen great success just drilling a small hole with nylon nut, small bolt, and some washers near the bar so you tighten it to pinch it down snug again if you just want good function and don't mind the look of seeing the nut and washer.

all it is, is a spring tension snap so once its loose its just loose and near impossible to take apart and bend it then reassemble and have it work right.

often you can buy em for like $10 each from parts truck sellers

I had one years ago in another vehicle, and took it down and saw a ball on the end that had worn around the plastic. I always wondered if a drop of salt water would rust up that ball enough to make it stick again.
