I'm selling my last Tacoma now that I've moved on to a 2nd gen. See the Craigslist ad for more details. It'd make a good project if someone who wants a toy but it runs fine as is. The ad asks for $4000 but that's because I'm expecting craigslist patrons to talk it down. I've decided I'm probably going to hold onto it myself for less than $3500. Let me know if you might be interested here or through the craigslist email relay. I'm new to posting here but have been reading threads here anytime I've needed to do something on the truck. I think I hit all the posting rules but let me know if I missed something.

I'm adding my email here. Please mention you saw the truck on tacomaworld in the subject so I know you're serious. I keep getting craigslist emails asking if I'm selling a Toyota or what color it is and if I'll take 1500 for it so I'm starting to ignore them.

I paid 3500 for my 01 with 265k on the od... im not saying yours is overpriced at all but something to think about. Most people get really scared with high mileage. I have always wanted a first gen so mileage wasn't a big deal to me. plus it drove and ran better then my chevy with 167k on the od. you just ave to wait for the right buyer to be looking.

That's a fair point. If someone wants to make an offer, feel free.
