Wonder what people have done the there leaf springs in order to haul more weight without sag, or a lot of sag
Debating adding airbags but want to ask this world first.
Bought these"helper Springs" for 45 and they helped but the only go half the leave spring.
truck has 330 and has never had them replaced to my knowledge.

    Welcome

Deaver has a nice aal, uses 3 leafs. Other companies use a single leaf that rides stiff untill broken in. The ones you have must be broken in by looks of the arch.

I love my Super Springs then they were installed with new General Spring Heavy Duty springs.

They allow me to haul my normal 1000 pound plus loads but when empty a ride I can live with 002.jpg

It looks like you have a broken main leaf. If so, then you need to at least start there. My truck also has 330k on it and I'm happy with adding some Dakota leafs to my first two original leafs. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/omd-1st-gen-leaf-mod.500081/

I would not just add bags to the current contraption. Determine if the main leaf is broken then go from there.

I think Rybern has it right.
First find out if there are any broken leaves, then depending on your budget and skill level, sort your options and go from there.
Decide whether you want a lift- great for off road or mall crawling, more of a pain for working out of.
Go with stock height, easy to work out of and somewhat reduced off road capability and or cool factor.
Factor in projected use- work rig, recreational etc.
With that many miles on the clock, it could be a safe bet that you either replace main springs and build up a pack from either Dakota, or S10 springs, or go for a base set of OME or another spring pack and maybe Timbrens or Super springs.
If you want to lift it, then head in that direction.
Budget, type of use, and skills, will help you make your decision.
Replacing the springs aren’t especially difficult however given that mileage, you are looking at likely cutting the bolts, new bushings and an interesting wrestling match at the very least.

Good luck, and welcome to the forum.

A closer look makes me realize that there are only 2 leafs(plus overload) on your pack. I wonder if someone removed one of the leafs or maybe that's how the 98's come. My 2000 came with 3 leafs plus the overload.

Been awhile, and I can’t be sure my original springs were full on stock, but 3 sounds right plus the overload. I think there was an AAL -shorter one on mine, and I added a longer one-twice- replacing the first one I put on since they each broke in 2 places.
