I used to be a mechanic as well, tomorrow I start back driving them. So glad:bananadance:

Do you guys not have cornwell trucks? I never bought anything from snapon, my driver wouldn't help you out any and cornwell had the same/better warranty any way.

Where at in Wa are you located? Is that thing going to fit out the garage door after it has 40s on it? Awesome build man can’t wait to see it when it’s done.

Perfect! I’m living in Spokane right now, I’m from Lyman originally though. That things going to be sweet. I love how simple the early cummins are. My buddy has a 94 12 valve and it’s amazing the lack of electrical on it compared to my taco.

Nice! My parents had a place in spokane when I was a kid.
Yeah they don’t take much to run at all. Wiring the truck to make all the lights and heater and wipers work with “no engine” is turning out to be tricky

For the lights and wipers could you just wire up the factory switches to run out to separate relays and then just draw the power from your battery (or a secondary battery). I don’t have any experience with heaters so I don’t know what they all entail haha

I’m trying to tie into the factory fuse panel/ relay box so I can use the factory harnes in the dash and don’t have to mess with it much. I’ll figure it out eventually :annoyed:

As long as you have power to the fuse box shouldn’t everything work pretty much close to normal? I’ve never really thought about what all goes into making all the things in your truck work Haha. Crazy how involved everything is. Just swapping axles and tcase you have to mess with different speed sensors for the speedo and remove all the abs junk and stuff to I bet.

That’s not all that needs a connection... there’s certain grounds I have to find and since I don’t have the factory gauge cluster in it I have to find which pins to tap into to make my turn signals work, etc.....

Started mocking up how a new cluster might look.

And ripped the trans cooler out of the tow truck to replace it and a line. Think I might sell the truck here in a few months to pay some stuff off.... but idk.

Love to say I’ve made more progress on the yota but the frickin dodge is taking up my free time.
Trans cooler is on and main section of the trans is together. Going to get the valve body cleaned up and put back together tomorrow after work. Then on to the overdrive housing on the trans. 1A2FDA71-6AB9-498A-B506-9DAD9369B272.jpgCA7758F6-4004-435B-8252-C28618348B2B.jpgA0604E2F-C7BD-4F43-8895-A4BC83DC3A7D.jpg

    Small update.
Dodge is back together, tested, checked, inspected and up for sale.

Also my girlfriend got me the turbo I wanted for the 4bt!!!

    44mm holset hx30w :bananadance::bananadance:
Now all I need is an oil pick up tube and oil lines for the turbo and she will be ready for a getto testfire in the truck!! :burnrubber:

That it has. Rebuilt the entire front end on the dodge and transmission. That took awhile.

But should be hearing this thing fire here in the next week or so!

Turbo looks tiny when my fat arse is holding it and next to the engine but it will support a ton of fuel and works awesome in the twin set up I’ve got planned.
But me doing a test fit.

    One thing after another! :annoyed:
Need to buy another manifold and cut it so the outlet is between 1&2 in the up position to make this turbo work.
The manifold I roughly made has outlet at an angle right in the middle between 2&3 and that’s a little to tight all around up or down.
