Anybody have a 1st gen with a 2.7L engine notice it has a distinct vibration at an idle. My new truck has it, and I'm just curious what it may be. It seems to get slightly worse in reverse. But as soon as I get going from an idle, it's smooth.

your description is very commonly associated with needing new motor mounts.

I have the same engine. I just attribute things like that to it being a 15 year old truck.

Motor mounts will help, also give it a tune up and clean the intake.

I'll have to look at the mounts. I'm coming from a Prerunner with the 3.4, and compared to that this 2.7 vibrates a lot at an idle
