1999 Tacoma 3.4 no start!

So I just got back from driving my truck and went inside for an hour and came back out side to go get food when i go to crank it I have absolute no power going to anything in the truck. So i pop my hood and go replace my battery with a brand new one right when i connect it i get power to everything inside the cabin, right when i try to start it, it clicks and kills everything. No power to anything again in the truck, I checked my 80A and my relay but both looked fine please help what it is? @Dm93

 

Sound like a main power or ground feed issue.
What do your battery cables look like? Wiggle on them one at a time and see if things come back on, if they do you found your bad connection.

 

Thank you! It did end up being the connection, I got new ones haha. I was driving and my truck randomly turned off again completely no power to everything in the middle of the road. When I tightened them down again and waited a second it fired up but the idle was at 300-400 rpm…
