1999 Tacoma - Climate Control Cluster Light Bulb size

Hello all. Not sure why my bulb blew on my climate control cluster. All I did was swap out my head unit stereo. The bulb that blew is the bulb that lights up the right side - where control dial is to set where you want the air to blow.

Anyone know what size the bulb is and if this can be purchased at a local auto parts store. Also, how much is this bulb at the dealer! Oh yea one more thing....how do you remove the bulb?

Like stated above: 74. Yes, most every auto parts store will have them.

Take off the temp, air direction and fan speed knobs. Then pull the face plate off.

The bulbs will be right there. They have little green sleeves on them that will need to be transferred to the new bulb.

 

I got mine at Napa but not off the shelf, you have to ask for them as they keep them in the back.

 

I bought mine at autozone, and it was in the bulb section.

 

Sylvania 2721 or 2723. 2723 is brighter.
T5 is an LED equivalent.
