I'm going to be selling my 99 Tacoma but I have no idea what it's worth. Was hoping some knowledgeable 1st gen guys can give me some ideas on how much to ask for it. Here are the specs:

    • 1999 Tacoma SR5 4x4 with 2.7L (3rz) motor
    • 155,000 miles (I bought it with 98,000)
    • Has been an Arizona and Southern California car since 33,000 miles
    • No accidents
    • Mobil 1 oil change every 5,000 miles
    • Mechanically-9.9 out of 10 (runs incredibly strong)
    • Cosmetically-7 out of 10 (minor dings and scrapes expected for 15 year old truck
    • Fabtech Dirt Logic 2.5 coil-overs with All Pro UCA's
    • All Pro leaf pack in rear with Bilstein 5150 shocks
    • 15" Procomp steel wheels with BFG AT's 32x11.5x15 with 5,000 miles on them
    • Full size matching space tire/wheel
    • ARB Front Bumper with 55W HID lights
    • 55W halogen rear lights on separate switch
    • K&N cold air intake, Doug Thorley Headers, high flow cat, Flowmaster series
    • A couple extras: fork mount bike rack in bed, tow package, bucket seats (no bench), Alpine head unit, tail light grills

Some pics below. It's a clean truck and drives great. It will go another 150,000 miles for the next owner. Would love to get everyone's input on how much you think I should ask for it. I'll be posting it for sale on TW and San Diego Craigslist once I figure out the value. Thanks.

Nice looking truck!! I would check out some of your local listings and see if you can find some like your truck but then obviously up the price for the mods you have done to it but still be reasonable. Some people think since they dropped $5K into their truck they think its worth $5K above blue book but it doesnt work that way.

    Started automatic. Swapped to manual
With such a good frame I would think 8000 to 8500. Also maintained well.

Thanks for the input. I was thinking about the same maybe $7500-8500. I forgot to mention that its manual trans, not sure if that adds/takes away from any value. Thanks again.

MT helps it! 75-8500 is a solid guess.
