19th Annual Toyota Takeover at Rausch Creek Offroad Park

Im counting on it being operational for the entertainment aspect. Wheeling with Rich is just a damn good time.

LOL I daily a Civic now! And after what Richy spotted me over in NH last year without a hiccup, if he thinks my trail pig can do it, I trust him. Probably my famous last words...

Let's just say I have been poking around you thread more often for... reasons. Weren't you hanging onto a door for me too? But yeah it's a fun winter project. And for the price I got them at for them being my color, it was hard to say no.

 

Haha, well you'll have to make the trip down to take measurements and watch me rebuild and setup my 3rd

No worries, he's a genius and he knows I'm not in a rush.
I gotta feeling he's having at it and will be done sooner than I think, especially seems how I'm getting him a case of beer for his crew from a local vendor.

You guys give me too much credit! I'm still an amateur...
But wheeling with people at the off-road parks and listening and watching the vets do it helps me get better everytime!
Also I really have a problem on challenging myself.
If my butthole isn't puckered and nothing is breaking, then I'm not really having fun.

 

@petzl21 Might have room. He’s down that way. Has the enclosed trailer we always have the raffle at. I could throw them on my trailer but I’m an hour plus north of there and don’t know exactly what time I’d be heading through CT.

 

If it helps the cause, I am more than willing to travel to mass or within ct to pass them along.

 

Alright so I'll officially be heading to Takeover this year for a day trip on Saturday to get the doors and wheel some blues/blacks. Gotta get the pile in decent shape now.

 

Ditto. Need to get the armor back on. 30 day count down.

 

Just confirmed the dates with the wife so I’ll be there for one full day of wheeling and camping the night before.

@Skierrichy don’t break your shit between now and then!

 

Spare tires are also a good thing to bring apparently....... A couple of them in my case lol.

 

@Skierrichy It sounds like there are parts moving all over the place. Any chance you can fit a rear axle on the way home to CT? You mentioned that there were some other folks from New England headed down for the Takeover as well. Anyone else want to haul some gear?

 

If no one else closer or easier logistics can take them I think they would fit under the 4runner on my trailer. Only issue would be if it’s raining/wet, but I could pop the door panels off to keep them dry.
I’m camping 20 mins away at Twin Grove campground so they would have to be picked up there. Getting there Thursday afternoon/night. The trailer gets parked out by the main road unsecured, so that could be a problem leaving them there until Saturday.
