    Hello.

I'm looking to start stockpiling parts for a complete underhood refresh on all rubber parts.

I'm hoping you all can help me put together a list an part numbers for every hose/tube/line in the engine compartment, and I'll update this post to be a resource for others in the future.

I know the 12-15 1GR-FEs probably have a few changes, due to the secondary air system, but I'm not familiar at all with them, so if it is a later model part number, maybe shout it out so I can list it separately?

I've already done the power steering loop, so I'll add send/return lines for those once I dig up the order sheet and find them again.

    Thanks!

I'm in to watch this. All the underhood rubbers on my 2009 4.0 are original and still in decent shape. But they can't last forever.

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
If vacuum lines aren't molded to specific shapes, buying correct dia hose in bulk and cutting your own lengths will be a lot cheaper.

I do agree on coolant and fuel hoses being OE though. Aftermarket will not usually fit as well and never last as long.

I don’t think I’ve ever proactively replaced soft parts on any vehicle. Seems like an invite for trouble.

I want to get deep in the engine bay to do rust remediation. Lots of surface rust and a couple of the stamped brackets are saltine crackers at this point. Gonna need to be disconnecting everything anyways. I figure if I do hoses and lines one at a time the risk of problems is low.

that makes sense. If you’re disconnecting 10 year old rubber lines it would be worthwhile to replace with new for sure.
