Ok, now we all know I'm wrong what about the rear end gear size and do I need a locker? Is there a way to splice the power steering high pressure line ends on the hard line?(my 2rzfe had a sensor on the line the 1j has vaccumn lines)

There is no 7m in the world that is 2.5l. Some must be fucking with you. Either that, or its a SUPER rare 1gfge or however it goes....which is a TT 2.0l motor.

Im telling you man, a 1jz in a TRUCK..is a BAD idea. In a 240zx or corolla its a match in heaven, but those are light cars. Not a truck. Your really gonna miss your low end torque when you go wheeling.

Also...they stopped making supras in 98...the 1jz was only put ins upras for like 3-4 years before 2jzs took over. 1jzs were then just used in some lexuses and then after that they stopped making em. Also if its a 7mge then its a non turbo 7m, but that doesn't make it a 2.5l.

As for the price differance. Go 1.5jz. Get a 2jzge block for like 400 bucks and run with it. Granted a 1jz head doesnt flow as good but you'd get some torque back. If anything just go witha 7m.
