Turns out it'll be a while before I get it. The internship I landed was shot down at the last minute because I couldn't get a security clearance (not yet 18 - a DoD requirement). I had to put my name and resume back on the list for another branch to pick me up (that doesn't require a clearance). Once I get that damn job, it won't be that far away.

I know for sure I'm goin' with the access cab. I'm just trying to figure a few small details out (like how I wish they still made an automatic pre-runner access cab).

    June of 2010. :D

It was only that specific branch/unit that required a security clearance for my position, though. The branch head (who interviewed me) didn't know you needed to be 18 for the clearance, and went ahead and submitted my paperwork. 4 months later (about the time it would've taken for the actual clearance to go through), I get a call from the branch head saying the Chief of Naval Operations (it's a Navy internship) nixed it.

I'm just waiting for a branch to pick me up now that won't require me to get a security clearance.
