like so?:D these are from the frontier we're doing right now. just cycled the frontend, it does 16.5" wheel travel until the cv's start binding, so I'm thinking an honest 15" on this particular truck.

The only "problem" with going this far w/ the frontends is it ramps up the cost significantly. the "arm only" kits are simply easier and faster to make and design, the big boy kits with fabbed spindles and monster uniballs and stuff are around $3500 w/o axles.

yes, we just started working with a vendor that does nothing but high quality 300m material axles, and he can do them in any length needed. I'm not completely sure on pricing yet, but I will have a lot better idea on that when he finishes the frontier axles.

...and yes, we could probably figure out a simple bedcage like that in a bolt-on design. shipping is the only drawback on those, but yes, we can do it.

Yea I bet shipping would be a killer. Good thing I'm only about 3hrs away to make a pick up. Even if the 4x4 lt doesn't come through I'd still be interested in the 'space saving' bed cage.

those look superb!! withthe LT kit that i have i can safely cycle 12" without binding my CV's. i dont want to push what i have any further because i have already broken an outer CV. i do both rock crawling and prerunning in my taco and im always worried about my stock gusseted spindles...i think maybe there might be a small nitch market for some aftermarket 4X4 spindles for the 05+ tacos

here i am at THE HAMMERS doing a trail called Claw Hammer..not IFS friendly to say the least, but still did it haha

I have been working like mad on that nissan, it's almost done, then i will hopefully be back on a "normal" schedule... I can definitely build fully fabbed spindles, they would be approx. $1k a pair.
haven't got any takers on an LT kit yet.

That's about the going rate for spindles...how would it work with 4x4ers? I don't know enough about them...

How would our angles look for 3-4 inches? Would we needed extended CV's? Is this even practical for 4x4 non LT?

I assume these spindles will just be direct bolt on, OE replacement. They will not give you ANY lift, 0 lift, if Im not mistaken, they will most likely just give you a much stronger, trail/desert ready spindle, which is really important. If you are not running LT arms, then you will not need extended axles. Axles depend mostly on your arms than the spindle

Im curious as to what kind of CVs you are running? Are they just modified Tundra CVs? or are they custom? Im getting mine thru RCV but they are having binding issues

That 16.5in travel is for the Frontier so I doubt he's using Toyota CVs
