    One or two things modded... Check out the build thread
    wow yours lets it down a lot slower than mine does..... and i have to place the cable out of the way each time i shut the tailgate. but i am still very pleased dont really think you can screw up the install it either goes on or it doesnt so i really dont think i did anything wrong.

    If you put a zip tie or lock tie around the main body of the cylinder with the extra length of the tie out, it can direct the tailgate cable to stay to the outside when you try and close it. I have one of these ez downs too, and went through the same thng you did.

    I'm having the same problem. Can you post a pic?

    Also it was about 30 degrees outside when I took that video. I assume with warmer weather it will be faster and also once it's been used a few times it should loosen up.
