    ive seen lots of pics on google of that truck! but idk the set-up, looks like canti, maybe some crazy link set-up but i see something poppin up and down in back of the truck

    lol it was caged last year halloween, remember?

    i guestimated 120 feet when i first went there as well, i was going to hit it 4th gear, not tapped but up there for sure, on a 07 crf450

    Sand is crazy though, if you back off that little bit in 4th gear you might only go half as far. Whatever gear your in you have to be pinned or the sand sucks up too much speed

    I was always amazed that the last 10% of the throttle can be a 70-80ft difference. The only thing you can really do to control length is roll off at the last second, but you have to pin it up the bottom half. Dune jumping is so full of commitment but thats what makes it fun :) That canal is probably a little different because that is mostly dirt on that side isnt it?

    Yeah, the area by the canal on the take off and landing is harder than the usual sand. Its still kind of soft though

    Lol not now but 10 years ago I would have in a heartbeat. I actually looked up and down the canal a few times looking for the spot but didnt spend too much time, there are much bigger in the dunes :)
