At the worst, the plan is to drive the truck for as long as possible. Then once it hits a mark...I'll drive it out west, do everything I couldn't do in Ohio for the past _ _ years, and if it dies in the desert, she dies in the desert. I'll buy a new Taco and drive it back to Ohio.

I figure it's the only "proper" way to kill/bury a toyota truck, isin't it?

Have you ran paddles out there before?
My old truck I ran paddles and it destroyed my transmission back in the day. Way too much strain on the engine and tranny. But that was a 4 Cyl. motor I had in it so it could have been different

Never ran them on a truck, been wanting to for ever tho, they are sixteen short paddles. For a 3.4 and 4:56 gears, as long as i dont push it to hard i think it can handle sand hwy and easy dunes, test will be olds and sand drags vs 2nd gen challenge  Installing a tranny cooler and fresh oil. The rest we'll figure out there .
