11/15/2012 40,000 MORE ACRES in GLAMIS willbonn
#3450 In Sept. BLM released the Imperial Sand Dunes Proposed Recreation Area Management Plan and Final Environmental Impact Statement that would reopen 40,000 acres to riding that has been closed since 2000.
Critics had until Oct. 14 to challenge the new plan to reopen 40,000 acres in the Algodones Dunes area, bringing the total riding area to 179,000 acres as early as April 2014.
