So... Now we're @ 3rd weekend in September.

Stay with that from now on. Give everyone a date to plan around.

Have been to Rush yet? Video if you go. I think more people would get in if they had some visual of the place.

]I should have all the major changes done to my truck by Rush. Probably not lights. Maybe not wheels. Probably not painted topper. Probably not allpro expo's.

    Well.....

    Some of it anyway.

Not yet. Will video for sure.

Every time I tell myself I want to go, something comes up and takes me away from it.

If people are worried about video of Rush, they need to actually click the damn YouTube links I've posted and watch.

Or, ya know, search on their own...

Looks like its just a bunch of dirt trails or super rutted mud ones. Ill likely just be driving around through the dirt ones all day but that's ok. If they have any rocky climbs those may be fun.

Please look at the map on their website. Don't hesitate to give them a call and ask about things.

Let them know you're with the TacomaWorld group and Nick Kellough (pronounced 'Kello', like Jello, for those that think it's Kellog like the cereal corp :D )

I've scoped it out via Earth and what you see on it isn't even close to the amount of trails and their difficulty. What trails you can see, are the "arena" type stuff where the major events are hosted, we'll be on the stuff nowhere near the main entrance.
Talked to a few coworkers about this trip, they've told me we can get mild granny's house gravel roads up to break your driveshaft and roll your shit. So, please folks, don't discourage yourself already.

I know I'm hosting and never been there, yet. I will get out there ASAP and run the trails if it makes it any more desirable for people to want to show up. If not, then I'll wheel Sept 15, 16, and 17 at RRG

I 100% agree with this sentiment.
Not gonna lie, I was hesitant for that part. But $30 for the weekend and free camping. $20 for one day wheelers.

Oh, I am still game. No worries there. Also no problem paying...these places take a lot of work, and these rates usually are just enough to keep the lights on for the owners. They are doing us a solid by opening up their land to us to beat up.

These fuckers are raking in money LMAO!

Thousands of drunken hill jacks show up to the big events. People actually make it a point to travel to Rush from all over for those sanctioned events. It's ridiculous

Date change shouldn't stop me. I like going on these trips to actually see whats around. Some day I'm gonna have a bunch of little shitheads of my own that are going to be relying on me to take them cool places, and I have to be able to deliver

I have failed you folks and haven't ran any trails at Rush, yet.

I swear, I'm making time for it this weekend! Unless I can get a coworker to go in his RZR, I'll be alone (1 truck, no winch), so I won't try anything too stupid/fun
At the very least, I'll run the easy trails really fast.:mudding:

Whenever man. Wouldn't mind having someone else along to give another opinion.

Bill asked that I take video, but we all know those never show perspective as well as you standing there on the trails

If this is about my woman, I'm already in the doghouse because I didn't come over Saturday night/Sunday.

    Don't care. She'll come around.
And it's not that I'm not trying, I'm just not going to bend over backwards anymore. A woman will either take me as I am, or she'll walk. Simple.
I warned her that I was an asshole at the beginning

Well...I WAS going to ask you about this, and see about Saturday....I SHOULD have my winch up and running....Would have been a great opportunity to get you stuck, then try out the new winch:boink:. Then FED EX just notified me the rear bumper will be ready for pick up on Friday....So, paint it Friday night, install it Saturday. Do final coat of paint with it already mounted. Then install 2 of 3 sections of skids. 3rd piece has to wait until sliders are bolted in place.

Wait 2 more weeks until Sliders get here. So...Maybe NEXT weekend I can go play (without sliders....:pout:).

In any event, should have all armor and winch installed and functional before actual meet date. Slowly but surely, it's all starting to come together.
