    I had plans of coming down Friday morning and returning Saturday. However this is looking less and less likely. I have a wedding I have to be at Saturday night.

    I'm down for an alternate meetup. Would be good to put faces with the goofy handles on this forum... also would be good to know how well I could handle being in the woods with a bunch of potential chuckle heads!

    The son of one of my best friends is a meteorologist for a Louisville tv station. We crossed path's earlier today. The subject of hurricane Irma came up. He said that no matter how much bigger it is than Harvey, we won't see NEAR the rainfall we got from Harvey. He said that the mountains all along the eastern seaboard will effect the path of the rain. Irma would have to swing almost 100 miles west of it's predicted path before making landfall before we would see that sort of rain event here. Doesn't mean it won't rain a couple days, just not a huge flood.

    Good to have a back up plan, but let's not give up on the Rush trip just yet.

    Besides, I wanna winch someones ass out of a mud hole! (Just not ME!)

    Hehe I'd love to, although i'd be more inclined to bring the 4Runner...but thats a 1200 mile round trip, that we made in July. Arrived on a Sunday, and everything was closed lol. And I'm not heading toward KY after Harvey and pre Irma and Jose anytime soon lol.

    But I'll live vicariously thru you gentlemen in the meantime and trust me...we'll be back down there again.

    I'll wear the helmet also I'm sure. I'd rather be stuck than broken tho lol
