    Any idea if we can bring firearms to do some plinking?
    Obviously it would be into a safe backstop with no trails behind it but I was not sure of the rules of the off road park.

    Never been to the off road park but I shoot USPSA over in rush.

    At the very least if I can make it ill throw my pvs14 and Flir in the back so we can have some fun with those and some IR lasers.

    I carry daily. Always. But I have my CCDW license too and taken a bit of training.

    When I went for the "scouting run" a few weeks back, we did hear someone shooting that was on the trails somewhere, and we were CLOSE. As in, we were on the ridge right above them type of close range.
    Pretty sure firearms aren't allowed. Go to the first post here, click their website, and look at the rules.

    Looks like they don't list firearms as prohibited. Just don't bring any c4 :D

    I looked at the rules, nothing about firearms. I guess its just an ask at the gate kind of thing.
    closest thing related to it said no explosives.


    The gun fire you heard was probably from the shooting range (where the USPSA events are).
    on google earth the back side of the off road park is the ridge line above the shooting range.

    Possible. But I don't think it's likely that park trails would be that close to live fire.

    Yeah. I ordered a 4' Firestik kit off Ebay. Comes with cord, mount, etc. I just have a cheap magnetic walmart one for now. It works in the trails but that's about it.
