This makes me feel better about averaging 20-22 MPG on the highway!

I have a 4-banger, but with my lead foot and prolific A/C I get less than 15 MPG around town…

All kinds 3 inch body lift/2 1/2 suspension lift. 31/11 1/2/15 tires All work done by myself for years. The only work performed by mechanic was fuel pumps. I also have a 90 Mustang 350 hp and I can never understand how come my Tacoma gets more respect Just got a 99 Jeep TJ that I rebuilt, and painted in the garage
I have a 2.7 and get less than 14........Always have. It's lifted, and it has the BO7A rear end. I think that might be the problem. I am constantly gassing up

Around town I get 15-16, as the 5 speed and muffler delete require my foot to be down a considerable amount of the time, but on the highway I can get upwards of 19 and 20. On 285/70R16s (~32s).

I've wondered this myself. I have very meticulous service records from the time the truck was new to when I got it and I've read it over countless times, but yet to find timing belt being done. So I'm pretty certain it's original at 183k miles.

Best was 18.7, worse was 12. Not even sure how that was even possible.

I'm pretty much all stock 3.4L double cab but with KO2 C Load

I'm not really sure other than my truck getting tune-ups regularly and oil changes every 5k or so, other than the tires and wheels my truck is entirely stock drivetrain wise.
