I got my hose order yesterday. Very nice and thick silicone. These hoses will outlast me.

Anyone with blue, red, or grey hoses installed, so I can see what exactly needs replacing?

    Thanks,
    Don

I did all of my vacuum hoses about a month ago. I took them all off, marked them, drove to the local parts store, and set my collection on the counter. The guy looked at me, looked at the pile, looked back at me, sighed, and then allowed me in the back where they had the rolls of hoses. I cut all my own hoses and just wrote down what I got. I measured the closest I could to the length I needed (they sold by the foot). When I got back home I cut them to the exact size an installed them.

i am just doing them one at a time so to avoid potential routing/confusion issues.

the first one was the big fat long one from the airfilter box to the rectangular box on the other side of the engine compartment (the fattest of the hoses) it seemed that the internal diameter of the new hose was a bit smaller than the OEM taken off and was a very tight fit even after putting the clamps back on it

Did this on mine with the siliconeintakes kit plus some extra hose. I still have a bunch of extra left over which has come in handy since there are some hoses that you can't access unless you pull the intake off. Since I am doing the valve cover gaskets, I've been able to replace those hoses as well.

I use black hose so it doesn't really show well in the pic for what was changed.

But this was the pile of old hoses that were swapped out. Gives you a little bit of a better idea.

It's a new reservoir. The tint of the plastic makes it look like that.

Autozone replacement master cylinder with reservoir. Factory new would look the same.

my next battery might be bitchin lol ... 300 dollar one for cold weather cranking
unless its just for a 3rd gen then its a no go

although that battery is for extreme northern MN, i have never had much issue with starting even when left outside in winter

@xtremewlr is it ok to crop your picture?

does anybody know how to get this rubber piece (or what it is) is it replaceable (easily) from the pcv hosing?
mine is getting weather worn and I suppose a new one looks better (nice and black)
and maybe this has potential to get leaky :notsure:

That's just a foam cover for the PCV port on the upper plenum of the intake. It wouldn't leak itself. You can order a replacement from Toyota if you want. It just slides into place. Pull straight up and it will slide off.
