Right on, it’s been quite awhile since I got over that way, but it’s on the list in a couple years to do some roaming around there again. We used to go over around Jeffery City for antelope hunting back when I was in school, so some of you photos looked somewhat familiar terrain wise. Since I had a 52 CJ2A, I didn’t roam too far afield, mostly up in the Absoraka and upper Wind Rivers, it would take forever to run the old Willy’s down that way. Enjoy it, I miss it.

Bought them as 100watt halogens. Converted them to 100watt HIDs and didnt like them. Converted them back to halogen. Took them off and ran a Rigid 20" light bar instead. Way more usable light. They are not good offroading. Maybe long straight flat stretches in Australia where they were designed and made. But not the PNW.

Hey guys, Can someone measure the diameter of the grill/headlight tubing? Does anyone know what the specs are on it? Wall thickness, DOM, etc?

Yeah I run some 240’s on my diesel, and some 170s for ditch lights. They work pretty good up north, but they hydro-axe the the ditches so that helps. On the fence about a light bar, I might build one up from the Ridgid cubes and mount it on the top of the bull bar. I liked the IPFs that came with the bumper, but one got cracked while the cover was on on the AlCan last trip up, so I am trying these Anzos and I have a couple Super bright LEDs that I mounted where the push pads went, they might do in the short term. Hard to find something that fills all needs.

Just about done trimming the buckets for the Hella E code 97 sealed beam swap, just some tweaking to get them to fit right in the 97 grill, then finish painting the grill and see what the light pattern looks like and go from there.E69FC75F-F032-480C-B33A-B3DDED5CCABE.jpg

A bunch of the same stuff everybody else has already done.
I may have missed this earlier in the thread but is the install reversible if I decide to go back to the factory bumper ?

Yes, direct bolt too for Tacoma. Seems that the 4runner is the only one you need to cut
