Instead of wiring directly to the battery for power, i just went to the fuse box by the door.

Decided to mount the antenna on the inside bed rail on the driver side, up against the cab and ran the coax down a narrow opening of the bed corner.

I then ran the coax thru a rubber stopper on the outside of the cab that leads under the back seat, just cut an X in the rubber and the cable will slide right through.

    Cab set-up

An outside shot, Fire Stik 4 foot. At first I thought I should have gotten a 3 foot but it grew on me.

    well done.

i think if i put a cb on my truck my wife would kill me.... i remember "back in the day" my girlfriend at the time (no wife) had one in her jeep, and i had one in my old ranger.. and we lived just far enough where we could talk over it.... way cheaper then a cell phone... my buddys had them too, we only really ever used it when we would run powerline trails...

my one buddy didnt want to put one in his cherrokee so he had this old HELP! radio....

becareful... i had a PA speaker on my toyota pick up when i was 17.... i got arrested for disorderly conduct, had to have the speaker removed. 30 hours of community service....

for the record, the amish man started it..... the cop said Amish people don't swear. thats discrimination.

    so the story goes.......

i went to my buddys house to pick him up... was sitting in his drive way honking... didnt come out, so i starting calling him on the PA speaker.. so i pulled out of the driveway, spun my tires alittle bit (everyone knows how light in the back the toyota pick ups are, tires always spin) so this "Amish" man putting a roof on the house across the street, told me to slow the fuck down, and said fuck something else... so at the end of the block i "turned my truck around" then when i got to him next to his "Dodge Ram" truck i breaked and started yelling at him on a PA speaker... apparently i was going super fast (cop measured skid marks, dont think they were mine) and the amish man said that i tried to kill him....

i got porbation before judgement, pretty much, once i didnt the community service the charges were droped and "erased" from my record... i did alot of dumb shit when i was younger.. even though it was only 10 years ago... still think it was pretty stupid now.

it depend on the dodge... i had an 88 Dodge Raider... blew the motor... had a knock when i got it.. drove it for 4 or 5 months untill it seized...

the 360's are good motors, with the manual transmission... but it have to be an earlier 90's one... the new ones are nothing but problems... alot of computer problems i heard...

i wouldnt want to be amish.. they work to hard... and dont drive any trucks.. horses are a pain in the ass...

these new dodges are pieces and a half, i drive one basically everyday and each time i get in one something is either broken, breaking, or going to break. the hemis are alright but once you start putting more and more miles on them they begin to show their worth

actually....i wouldnt mind owning a horse, if i had the money but i have more pressing issues on the slate to purchase before a good ole Thoroughbred
