I recently acquired at lightly rolled over 2003 3.4 ext cab that I plan on using for a work/plow truck around the house. I am looking to replace the doors but cant seem to find any solid info on what doors will fit.

    Does anyone know:

    Will doors other than 2001-2004 fit ? -------1995-1997? 1998-2000?

Are single cab and ext cab doors interchangeable?

Any help would be appreciated -ThanksIMG_2707.jpg

Would you even be able to swap the door and have it shut completely?

I doubt it, I'd try and pull those dents with a stud welder and slide hammer if you have access to one.

    They are the same.

I'm guessing you will need to beat that roof into shape before you get that far.

I was saying I doubt the door will shut, but I do believe all doors are interchangeable

Thanks guys. I found some doors off a 1996 with crank windows on craigslist. Since it will only be a yard truck I'm not worried about it being perfect. I will do my best on the surrounding body so the door open/close.

There's cab replacements on cl here for 4-500 - probably worth it if you can find one where you're at...

ya, I just don't see it being worth the work to try to fix that cab, just replace it and not bother with the HUGE investment of time, money, and energy and even then at the end it may still be "not quite right" after all that.

you might get lucky and find one that still has doors.

Do the original doors have power windows and locks? The guts will be worth selling.

For a plow truck I'd just tape up the window and be done. At least the doors and the cab are bent in the same direction.

well I have all the manual window regulator hardware for both the doors if you wanted to buy it for a few dollars plus shipping, I sold the door locks already.

I swapped over to power windows and locks so I pulled all that stuff out of my 04, I even have perfect inside manual door panels in gray but I would want a god price on those

The truck belonged to a friend. He had the frame recall, lift, and a bunch of preventive maintenance done by toyota about a year ago. The rear end got loose around a turn and flopped it over in a ditch. Still runs and drives just fine. Its a 3.4 5 speed with crank windows and a split bench seat. I thought about a cab swap but I don't want to invest too much in something that will not be on the road. As long as I can have functional doors and windows I will be happy.

How's about the hammer mod and some tube doors? In fact, if it's just going to be a work/farm truck, do you really "need" doors at all?

The way it's shaped now, you could probably fit a Corolla door on it... lol

I highly doubt you'd be able to get that cab back to being anything close to weatherproof again without some very skilled body work (probably easier to do a cab swap, lol). So you might as well hammer the crap outta the roof, at least enough so you won't be tagging your noggin on the sharp metal as you get in, and call it good.
