They don't put out a lot of light when you that high in kelvin and you blind oncoming traffic

What would you suggest then, besides retrofitting? I can't afford to retrofit at the moment.

So you have 9000K bulbs. And your really blinding people with the 55W ballast you have. The scattered light makes it look brighter even though your losing visuality on the road.

Edit: you can do this and it's just as bright as HIDs, since you don't have enough money for retrofitting, this can be your other option.

Just use better halogen bulbs while you save up for retrofit

4-6k is the best. All the kids here get 10k cause they think the blue looks cool. It gives me headaches

I've been impressed by the taco's ability to go anywhere, but I don't really care to rock crawl or do crazy trails that I can walk, ride my bicycle or motorcycle on much faster so I've decided to move on... I saw two 4x4 Sprinters on the trip that made me convinced that is the next move. (Also, it gets better gas mileage and can carry much more!)

Here's my '03 TRD SR-5 Double Cab. It's the 5th Toyota truck I've owned, and the one I like best. They've all been basically bullet proof, but this DC SR-5 is set up in such a way that it'll get me there and back again reliably, regardless of where there and back happens to be! Desert sand, heavy snow up here in Arizona's White Mountains, Mexican beaches, rocky 4x4 trails, back country hunts, ..you name it and this is the vehicle I'd choose to tackle it in!..

Finished and mocked up the sliders. Probably gonna cut a few inches off the legs to tuck them in closer to the body
