Your truck looks great! What suspension & wheel/tire setup are you working with?

Thank you sir! Suspension is 99% percent 13 year old STOCK, with the only exception being the addition of traction bars from my "Goodbye Axle Wrap Mod" I posted a few years ago. She doesn't look as low as some others I've seen in stock form after this many years, but her leafs have a complete negative arch and she rides horribly. A full OME setup is being ordered in a few weeks!! I can't wait!
    IMG_20160727_165401.jpg

Wheels are KMC Enduros with Kumho Road Venture AT 31x10.5x15 tires. Picked up the set for $500 on Craigslist locally, wheels alone are worth more than that, so the tires were an added bonus! I'm going to run them into the ground before I replace them, and depending on how I feel about them after the lift may stay at 31's. Better milage, better usage of stock gear ratio, and less replacement cost. All provide a greater benefit to me personally than slightly better ground clearance, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

Nothing to crazy, just trying to keep it clean and simple. When I bought it four years ago (wish I still had the topper) compared to recently (before sliders were installed)..

I had it a year before the trans started slipping. Took it down to Toyonlyswaps and they did it for me. Amazing work, install/wiring/everything looks factory.

+1 for ToyOnlySwaps. I had them do some maintenance on my 3rd Gen 4Runner and they were great to work with.

My transmission has been stuttering / slipping under load as of recent, so this has got me thinking now...

My motor/trans is running fine. Cleaned it today. But curious, when time comes, how much does the AT to MT conversion by ToyOnlyswaps cost?

Lucky you. I just started experience my issue in the last month and am not stoked to say the least. I plan on taking it back to the local Toyota dealership where the transmission was flushed (I know, should've done a drain and fill) to investigate further. The dipstick is reading rather high at operating temps, so hopefully that is my issue. If not, i'll be soon looking to get it swapped out for another transmission.

I just put an e-mail into Cliff to see...

Appreciate it if you can keep me posted on Cliffs response.

I was going to do the trans drain and fill next month.
