Fine...do 80 down the freeway and 75 easily up the grades...gas mileage dropped off a little and it isn't as peppy as with 37s but no complaints...
I will say if I wasn't deep into rocks all the time ID be running 37s period...best of everything and never got stuck or had to back down...the 40s make certain nasty obstacles a bit easier so I tent to veer towara making those nastier.

Wow, I was thinking tires that heavy would slow it down a bunch. Good the know the 3.4 is a trooper and keeps on trucking! I may do a 3.4 swap on my 1979 Toyota Pickup 4WD one day so need to know this stuff because it's going to be my crawler.

I need the doors from a passenger side in the silver....front and rear have been crushed as well as front fender passenger side...if anyone has a line on so e let me know....I'll run my sides into the ground and swap when these are completely raisened

    DESTINATION HAMMERS:
So we hit the hammers Friday night ran chocolate thunder and resolution....tried back door a couple times didn't want t to break before the weekend.

Then We hit claw hammer and all credit lines as well as I did the wall on left then off to SOS and took a newbie on tachammer. Then a few extra credit unamed lines. Got it fast in whoops as well as airborne a few times.....truck on 40s performed flawless....

We also ran a couple other hammer trails.....I wanted SOS and the wall on claw hammer as well as lineup and give backdoor a shot this time out...
    Damage:
Destroyed rear passenger door (removed panel and had to bend back to bet glass out of way to bend rest out so doors and locks as well as glass worked)
Dented n rock assault housing up front
Dented rear housing in and hit ring gear no gear damage
Added another dent to passenger door driver side
Smashed my winch fairlead and broke a chunk off
    Broke rear tail light
Smashed the hell out of gas tank skid
    And some more stuff.....

Truck drove home 80 mph no issues....

Other damage I. Group and they didn't follow me on the nastier stuff...
Mike broke a Dana 60 ring gear
    Other mike slashed a sidewall
    Buddy sliced maxxis trepadors

We were not easy on stuff and I didn't take it easy on the rock assault front axle and Toyota rear with 40s....I had plenty of wheel spin and hopping....yes anything can brake But we are headed back to run johnson valley again soon and I will go harder next time....I don't drive like Ricky bobby lol...I get after it but not stupid never have been....
