Wow, been a long time since I have been on the forum, let alone have posted anything.
Thought I would come back by adding to this thread.

One of the better days at Fort Casey State Park

Since my first post, I have done a few little things to both the truck and trailer, started with a couple of small LED lights in the valence, LED back up lights, a Box Rocket inspired rack, and heavy duty wiring for the trailer and a "off road module" in the bed (large tote holding a 15 gallon water tank, water pump, 5 gallon air tank, Viair compressor, and Optima yellow top from a Honda civic, connected to the charging system via Anderson Powerpoles), moved on to adding the generic LED bar across the bumper, and the rack for the kayak.
Some of the additions to the trailer include matching the wheels to the truck by ditching the Harbor Freight axle, and adding a Dexter 3500lb axle, with 6 lug hubs, and Spidertrax spacers for their hub/lug centric design, I also added communications capacity to the trailer.

And the not so good, I got rear ended by a 3/4 ton Dodge Ram.

I drove away, the Ram got towed. Now I am thinking of some more serious Mods/upgrades, including a Ute tray style bed with below deck storage over the frame, an ARB bumper with a winch, and sliders...

    Let the thinking begin
