In 2012 I put 265/75R16's on my Prerunner, ran great.
In 2014 I put eibach coils with Bilstein 5100's set to 0.
    Rode. Like. Crap...
Hit a bump going down the highway and sounds like someone hit my truck with a hammer. I hoped it would settle out.
    It still does this...
2017 I went to 285/75R16 and added a Trail Gear pipe bumper.
    Still rides like crap.
I know these ride 'rougher" after you lift them but never have I seen it like this.
I sent pics to Toytec where I bought the components and they said it all looked good.
They're recommended going with thier coil over assembly with 550 coils.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

My thoughts is to put stock springs back on with 5100's set to 2.5" of lift and hope it smoothes out the ride.

So I've decided to put stock coils back on with the 5100's set to 2.5" of lift.
What could I do to change out the rear lift to a soft comfortable ride?
Currently I have a DIY AAL pack (3 leafs) from some old Chevy leafs and Tundra shocks.
Truck rides like a dump truck and trying to smooth it out for my daughter.

Those coils are supposed to bebused with a plate bumper and a winch otherwise its going to be stiff as you describe. Ive had mine with both the stock bumper and now with a plate bumper, winch and rock sliders, it now rises like butter.

Edit: if I remember correctly thoe eibach coils are like 650 lbs where the old man emu 883 are 550 lbs big difference in load rating.
