All E-Locker axles are ABS axles with the ABS sensor hole and ABS tone rings.

Even on trucks not equipped with ABS? I specifically recall from my axle seal failure and watching Tim's video on it - I did not have an ABS Sensor hole/plug/inspection port. I do have a factory locker.

That's weird, I've always heard they do, and have seen some as well and also had one.

Its what I have. Tim actually goes into non-ABS axles in another video (relating to axle seal replacement) - not sure if that one had a locker but trust me, it certainly was like that in 2002 when I drove the truck off the lot. ;)

All factory locker housings have the ABS tone ring, your seal sits inboard more than the non ABS 8.4" housings. There are 2 plugs covering the holes where the sensors would be.

didn't mean for it to come off like that...I think its a 2002 thing since I just checked again and Matt has an 02 who confirmed as well. Anyway, sorry Donald for derailing your thread. oops. Good luck with the sale!

Yeah. But all the axles have the tone ring and the provision for ABS. It doesn’t mean they’re setup for ABS on all trucks.

Ok, I just checked again. I had based my NO on Tim's vid from when my axle seal had failed. On the 4Runner it would be here -

Not there and nothing like that on mine of course. Anyway, @Empty_Lord shared a pic in another thread showing it at the top of the axle. Sure enough I checked again and -

    upload_2020-1-11_23-51-10.jpg

So there we have it. Apologies, I was thinking it was supposed to be on the side. Again, sorry for messing up your sale thread @dwaggs_ .

*let's not jack this thread - 1stGen lunchtable thread if you want to discuss/comment/flame me and Matt lol
