    Now that I have your attention! The ball in question is at the end of the cable that slides the passenger seat forward when you trigger the seat-back forward. I have included a photo of a cable with ball intact. If you still have yours, I am asking someone, anyone, to measure the diameter of the ball with a caliper and let me know the size.     Without being so precise, a small washer and standard cable crimp would suffice and provide the function you are looking for.
