That is what I was thinking....

I respect the effort, but I don't see the point. It reduces night vision and become a major heat score. But I am biased, there is a reason that I bought a truck and not a Civic.

    does it look cool? sure

the sensible side of me says bad idea tho

i spend at least 12hrs/night in a car 14 nights a month...i dont like ANY interior lights on...even the dash lights can affect your night vision (you may not think so but they do)...

i keep all my dash lights dimmed way down and all other lights off while driving at night...

i think the lights in the cupholder is probably the most functional of all of them and if they werent so damned bright itd be something i might look into...

I'd like to light up my cupholders/ console but I've got a couple quuestions. Where did you get the LEDs and wiring? And how did you wire everything up to that master switch?

I think it looks hideous .

Just kidding man! But I hate cabin lights :).

But really man, that's pretty freakin' sweet. As I said, not my cup of tea, but I'm darn impressed that this is your first attempt at wiring at the age of 16. I know plenty of people who'd love this sorta thing. Thanks for the share .
